The last similar announcement “ran” in 2021 and concerned 2,090 positions. According to exclusive information, the new competition is expected to take place in mid-summer.
Categories
The categories that have the right to participate in the announcement are:
a. Large parents with four or more children, one of the children of a large family and the surviving or unmarried parent of three minor children.
For the application of Law 2643/1998, a large family is defined as one that has at least four living children.
b. Persons with a disability rate of at least 50%, who have limited possibilities for professional employment due to any chronic physical or mental or mental condition or damage (Persons with Disabilities).
Also included are those who have a child, brother or spouse with a disability rate of 67% or more, due to severe mental and physical illnesses, which are established by the competent health committees.
Exceptionally, when individuals suffer from mental retardation or autism, a disability rate of at least 50% is required.
c. Those who took part in the National Resistance within the meaning of Law 1285/1982 (A’ 115), since they became Persons with Disabilities, as well as the children of those who became Persons with Disabilities due to their participation in the National Resistance or those who died due to their participation in the National Resistance.
d. Disabled persons and those injured in war or war events, those rendered incapacitated by the hardships of conscription, provided they served in any capacity in the Armed Forces or Security Forces, and their children, war victims and war disabled civilian population and children them, the peacetime invalids and their children. Also included are the children and the surviving spouse of the persons who were killed or disappeared in the war events in Cyprus in 1964, 1967 and 1974.
e. Parents with three children and one of the children of a family of three.
