The official account of the El Gouna Film Festival published a new video clip promoting the sixth session this year, through its official account on Instagram.
Members of the festival’s jury appeared in the video, and the video carried a caption that said: “Exciting developments will be witnessed in the sixth session of the El Gouna Film Festival, which will start from the 13th to the 20th of next October, where filmmakers from all over the region will gather in one place in which all… The festival’s activities, including panel discussions, workshops, film screenings and other awaited events, we are pleased to accompany you on a quick tour to reveal the most important details of the upcoming session.”
It is noteworthy that the activities of the El Gouna Film Platform will be held at the Plaza Square headquarters in El Gouna from October 14 to 19, 2023.
The festival also continues its support for Arab cinema at international film festivals, contributing to the empowerment of Arab filmmakers, especially outside the Arab world.
This year, the festival honors the young director, Marwan Hamed, for his outstanding contribution to the film industry
The festival is held under the auspices of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Ministry of Culture, and the National Cinema Center.
El Gouna Film Festival is one of the leading festivals in the Middle East.
