Exchange of fire with terrorists in Lucky Marwat, two soldiers of Pakistan Army martyred

An exchange of fire took place between security forces and terrorists in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province as a result of which two terrorists were killed while two soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), on January 10, 2024, there was an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in Lakki Marwat district, in which the soldiers took effective action on the hideout of terrorists.

As a result of the operation, two terrorists were killed, identified as Aftab Maling and Masood Shah.

These terrorists were involved in several acts of terrorism against the security forces as well as target killing of innocent civilians and arms, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from their possession.

The statement further said that two brave soldiers, 29-year-old Mohammad Afzal of Azad Kashmir’s Bhimbar district and 27-year-old Abrar Hussain of Mansehra district, died fighting bravely during the fierce exchange of fire.

According to the ISPR, the operation is ongoing to eliminate the terrorists found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers strengthen our resolve. do

It should be noted that during the last one year, there has been a significant increase in the activities of terrorists throughout the country, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, and the security forces are active to eliminate the activities of these terrorists.

Yesterday, an anti-polio team was attacked in Bannu city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, after which 2 officials were martyred and 3 were injured in the exchange of fire between the police and the armed men.

A day ago, on January 8, security forces in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province arrested a terrorist in an injured condition while a young man was also martyred in the exchange of fire.

On January 5, terrorists attacked the Mandan police station in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in which there was an exchange of fire for several hours, but there was no loss of life.

On the same day, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Tank district, as a result of which two terrorists, including the most wanted commander Gul Yusuf alias Toor, were killed.
