Exceptional energy check: the surprise will fall this week!
Since the invasion of Ukraine and runaway inflation, the government has put in place a whole panoply ofaide to accompany you and in all areas of consumption. The exceptional energy check allows French people, if not to increase their purchasing power, to survive. It’s regarding 5th installment which began on December 12, 2022. shipment depends of your region residence and your resources.
With this exceptional energy voucher, in the amount of 100 or 200 euros, the beneficiaries will be able to settle several things. In fact, their bills electricity, gas, heating oil or other heating fuels (wood, etc.), as well as energy renovation works. Near 12 million families are entitled to this boost. Who will receive the exceptional energy check this week from January 9 to 13, 2023?

The State points out that there may be a delay between the sending of the energy checks and the arrival at your home: “generally between 2 and 4 days”.
What are the criteria for perceiving it?
It will depend of your taxable income reference and the amount varies according to this data:
- 200 euros : for families who already receive the classic energy check and whose annual reference tax income does not exceed €10,800;
- 100 euros : for families who have annual resources between 10,800 euros and 17,400 euros.
Another important information: you have time to use it. The validity date of the exceptional energy check is set at 31 mars 2024. So, don’t be afraid to be fair on deadlines. You can either use it right away or put it aside in case of hard knocks.
What is the procedure to follow if you have not received state aid?
If you meet the criteria listed above and your region is eligible for sending the exceptional energy check, you can file a claim. In effect, you must complete a form and you can also contact the following number: 0 805 204 805 (Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.). For information, ithere is even a simulator to check if you are eligible. The distribution of the precious checks will last until January 27, 2023. Wait for the end of the procedure to start the process if you have not received anything.
