For the second round of the Azerion Women’s Eredivisie, Excelsior SC welcomes Heerenveen to the Van Donge & De Roo Stadium. Excelsior plays a strong first half, but just before half time concedes a goal from a corner. In the last 10 minutes, Excelsior managed to score the deserved equalizer through Ellouzi, taking the first point of the season.
Excelsior plays a strong and dominant first half, with most of the chances going to the home team. Excelsior was the dominant party, especially in the first fifteen minutes. The first chance comes early when Ellouzi breaks through the defense, but is flagged for offside.
