Founder of Instagram account #BalanceTonbar, Maïté Meeûs received the “Amnesty Youth Human Rights Prize” in 2022 for her feminist commitment. The psychology student created the page on October 14, 2021, following reading the first testimonies of sexual assault and chemical submission in the Ixelles cemetery district. She relays dozens of testimonies from young women who have been attacked, with other well-known party places also quickly being singled out.
