A 21-year-old went through a terrible thing on Friday in Vienna-Floridsdorf: her ex-husband, who had been banned from entering and approaching for a few days, had kidnapped the young woman on the street and taken her to her apartment. The police were able to free the severely shocked victim and overwhelm the 29-year-old violent criminal despite fierce resistance, the executive reported on Saturday.
Witnesses heard the attack around 9:45 p.m. right in front of the 21-year-old’s house on Donaufelder Strasse and saw how the man pulled her into his car and drove the car into the underground car park. The police found the car using the description, used the license plate to determine the identity of the attacker and thus also the entry and approach ban imposed a few days ago. So they knew that the young woman lived in the house.
Initially, no noise might be heard from their dark apartment, according to police spokesman Daniel Fürst. Finally, the 21-year-old managed to draw attention to herself by screaming, whereupon WEGA broke open the door and overpowered the Austrian. He was slightly injured in the action, treated by the rescue and arrested.
The man, like the Austrian, has not yet been questioned. The 21-year-old repeatedly refused care from the emergency services. Her father was also there, taking care of his daughter.
