The 20-year-old Dane will switch to the big Premier League club for 74 million euros, and a further 9 million euros could come from bonus payments. Höjlund is said to have signed a five-year contract with Manchester. Sturm Graz can also be happy: The Styrians will receive millions for their former goalscorer.

Bergamo transferred 17 million euros to Graz for the center forward in the summer of last year, and it is rumored that an additional three million will now be due through the resale. Sturm only signed Höjlund in January 2022 for almost two million euros from FC Copenhagen. The Dane has recently become a goal guarantor in the national team. He scored six goals in four appearances in the European Championship qualifiers.

Höjlund would be the third new signing at Champions League starter Manchester after midfielder Mason Mount and goalkeeper Andre Onana. Bergamo has already responded. On Saturday, the Italians signed Malian El Bilal Toure, while Spanish club Almeria received €30m for the attacker.
