Washington – After years of litigation, Donald Trump’s tax documents were released on Friday. The documents cover thousands of pages and cover the period from 2015 to 2020. The House of Representatives Finance Committee, which will be controlled by Democrats until the end of the year, announced the publication on Tuesday, but pointed out that parts of the documents would first have to be blacked out because they are confidential. As the committee previously announced, it shows that Trump paid little or no federal income tax for several years, despite boasting regarding his wealth. This applies above all to the first and last year of his presidency.
