Vienna – Julian Baumgartlinger announced the end of his career as a professional footballer to journalists in Vienna on Monday evening. The 35-year-old was under contract with German Bundesliga club Augsburg until the end of the previous season; his last appearance was on April 29th in the 1-1 draw once morest Eintracht Frankfurt.
