Stéphane Plaza is under investigation for domestic violence.
Starface
At the beginning of October, the Paris Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation for domestic violence once morest the flagship host of M6 Stéphane Plaza, due to accusations from two women. One of them testified in “Le Parisien”, Saturday October 4.
Jade (first name has been changed) was the companion of the real estate agent and television man for several years. The thirty-year-old met him in February 2017 at the Théâtre des Bouffes-Parisiens, where Stéphane Plaza was playing. She quickly worked for his shows, before gradually beginning an intimate relationship with him. At the beginning of 2020, the host asked her to move into an apartment in the Paris suburbs with him. In reality, he pretends to travel a lot and only comes once or twice a week.
A package thrown in the face
During the first confinement, the host explains to Jade that he has to live in his Parisian apartment with an ex who would be “dangerous” and threatens him, she tells “Parisien”. Jade announces her intention to leave him. That’s where he allegedly threw a package in her face. Their relationship continues, despite interruptions, in “difficult” conditions.
Jade also accuses Stéphane Plaza of having broken her ring finger and dislocated the middle and index fingers of her left hand on April 25, 2022. This had already been revealed in a survey published by Mediapart last September 21. The young woman did not then file a complaint. “I worked for Mr. Plaza and lived with him so I felt trapped. But I kept all the evidence in case he threatened me once more,” she explains in “Le Parisien”. In August 2022, she permanently stopped working for him.
“Crises of violence”
The thirty-year-old describes Stéphane Plaza as being “often in a daze”, regularly subject to “attacks of violence”. Sometimes “hellish”, he might also be, according to her, “very loving” and “very considerate”.
Jade says she has rebuilt her life. “I have nothing to gain from this story. If I speak, it is so that there are no other victims. »
Through his lawyer, Stéphane Plaza denounces “false accusations”.
