I thought it would be fun to let viewers see the ups and downs, the decisions and the compromises that come with the process.ItS something most people go through, and I hope by sharing my experience, it might help others feel a little less alone in their own house hunting journey.
**It sounds like a real rollercoaster.What are some of the challenges you’ve faced so far on the show? Has anything surprised you along the way?**
**Emilie:** Oh, definitely a rollercoaster!
One of the biggest challenges has been balancing my vision for the home with the realities of the market. You know, when you dream about your first home, it’s easy to get carried away withPinterest boards and grand ideas. But then you encounter budget constraints, location limitations, and sometimes the unexpected quirks of older homes. It’s been a learning curve for sure!
I’ve also been surprised by how emotional the whole process can be. It’s not just about bricks and mortar, it’s about finding a place that truly feels like home.
**We’ve all been there! So, what are some of the must-haves on your list? what’s your dream home non-negotiable?**
**Emilie:** My absolute non-negotiable is natural light. I love bright and airy spaces. I also dream of having a cozy garden where I can relax and spend time with loved ones.
Of course, practicality matters too. A well-equipped kitchen is essential for someone who loves to cook, and I definitely need enough space for my ever-growing shoe collection!
