You remember Ben Brode ? The star director of Hearthstone who left to found son propre studio, Second Dinner, in 2018? Well, here it is back with – unsurprisingly – a new deck of cards: Marvel Snap.
We see you rolling your eyes and mumbling ” once more a game stamped Marvel“, but in the presentation video, Bread ensures that the experience offered is very different d’un Hearthstone or d’un Legends of Runeterra.
We grew up obsessively playing CCGs and spent decades designing them. We want the whole world to fall in love with card battler, just like us. Marvel Snap is unlike any other card battler. We’ve worked tirelessly to make sure the game is super deep for hardcore gamers, yet still very accessible for everyone to jump in and have fun.
With Marvel Snapthe goal of Second Dinner was to purify maximum the typical gameplay d’un CCG to make a quick experienceeven brutal : player turns are played simultaneously, with the promise that a match be finished in 3 minutes.
Le Deck Building also aims to be concentrated but effective: despite a collection of 150 cards upon release of the game, enjoying many characters from la licence Marvel et many graphic stylesa Deck will only be formed of 15 cards. We will wait for the details on this subject, but it should be possible to complete his collection without spending a penny.
Marvel Snap will come out first on mobile (Android et iOS), more a PC client is currently in development and slated for release soon following. A closed beta is already in progress, but reserved only for players who have registered on the official website (and who have un terminal Android).
