Ex-Bundesliga coach takes over Oedt 1b on an interim basis

Five points from five spring games are not enough for Askö Oedt’s ambitions: The Trauners parted ways with 1b coach Samir Gradascevic.

The 46-year-old former coach of the Upper Austrian league teams Perg and Pregarten only took over Oedt’s second team in the Regional League East during the winter break, and now his era as coach of President Franz Grad’s club is over once more.

The collaboration was ended before the 1-1 draw once morest SC Marchtrenk at the weekend. During the away draw, sports director Gerald Baumgartner took a seat on the bench of the second Oedt team. The former Bundesliga coach (Austria Vienna, St. Pölten, Mattersburg, SV Ried) is not a permanent solution: “I’m temporarily looking following the second team on an interim basis. But I’m already looking for a new coach because the 1b team is very important to us. Some interested parties have already registered.”
