Fast forward to today’s line-up reveal on Twitch – which fighting games have been shortlisted? Here is the full list. Four of the nine featured titles are available on Nintendo Switch, and five of those games are entering the tournament for the very first time.
Street Fighter V : Champion Edition, Guilty Gear Strive, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Tekken 7, The King of Fighters XV, Melty Blood : Type Lumina, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Granblue Fantasy : Versus and Skullgirls: 2nd Encore.
As noted, registration for the event is now open. It will take place in person from August 5-7 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. And if you missed the news about Super Smash Bros. was removed from the tournament, here is EVO’s official statement from last week:
