Esports organization Evil Geniuses has decided to part ways with four reserve members of its Valorant Champions Tour team. Following the Top Champions event that concluded a few weeks ago (winned by Evil Geniuses), the team released a few members that it described as being key to its success. As stated in the social video, Evil Geniuses said, “Champions behind champions.” Our historic VCT run would not be possible without the dedication of @ApothVal, @BcJFPS, @ReformedVal, @icyjl, and @zecK_VAL behind the scenes. You showed that NA won the world championship and that’s something we and our fans will never forget. “We will be cheering for each of you and hope to face you on stage next year. As you can see, Vincent “Apotheon” Le, Brendan “BcJ” Jensen, Jacob “icy” Lange, Jeffrey “Rereform” Lu and Head coach Addison “zecK” Gorzeck has both been removed from the team, and no doubt many will end up joining other teams given the success Evil Geniuses had over the past season.
