Amid this turmoil, Evil Geniuses CEO Nicole LaPointe announced she would be stepping down as the team’s top job. “Following the most epic weekend of EG Hyundai, I find it very bittersweet to share my news today that I will be stepping down as CEO of Evil Geniuses,” LaPointe said. “The decision wasn’t easy for me, but winning the VCT World Championship the way EG did – fairness through merit, inclusivity in infrastructure, and going once morest scrappy believers perfectly sums up what we’ve been trying to do for esports.
