This year’s guest list in the big final show was as long as it was glamorous! While designer icon Jean Paul Gaultier sat next to Heidi Klum on the jury’s couch, the rock legends Scorpions heated up the finalists with two walks.

That happened in the GNTM semifinals in 2023
For the last six candidates of “Germany’s Next Top Model” 2023 it was regarding entering the grand finale. In the challenges, Coco, Nicole, Olivia, Selma, Somajia and Vivien had to prove one last time that they are suitable candidates for the final catwalk on June 15, 2023 in Cologne.
Body tension on the trapeze
At the “Cirque du Soleil” photo shoot, it wasn’t just regarding maintaining your posture on a trapeze, but also regarding catching the perfect shot with photographer Max Montgomery with elegant poses. Selma also knew that the models mightn’t afford to make any more mistakes: “We’re so close to the final and you really notice that every little mistake can mean the end.”
And then it happened: Vivien slipped off the trapeze bar and fell into the water. Selma also had problems keeping her balance. Was the 19-year-old able to catch herself at the last second or did she also say: “Shoot ended early”?

The “shooting of the shoots” took place
The semi-finalists were faced with the last and at the same time most important shoot of the season: photos for Mac Cosmetics. But in the end, only one will be the new campaign face of the renowned make-up label – the winner of “Germany’s Next Topmodel” 2023. Who was able to convince the customers of themselves during the shoot?
Main walk of season 18
After the decision walk under the motto “All Eyes On Me”, head of model Heidi Klum, together with her guest jurors, designer Philipp Plein and supermodel Elle Macpherson, decided which top model candidates would come one step closer to the title Germany’s Next Topmodel 2023.
The finalists were chosen in glitter, glamor and high fashion by Philipp Plein. “‘All Eyes On Me’ is the perfect motto to go to the finals,” explained Coco. Olivia was confident of victory: “I assess my chances pretty well, I think I have what it takes.” Who was able to convince Heidi Klum and her guest judges on the last few meters of the catwalk?
Shortly before the decision was made, a scandal broke out among the models. The trigger: a statement from Olivia following Coco’s decision walk. You can read all regarding the events here once more.
Who missed the final?
At the end of week 17, a candidate was hit: she had to leave GNTM 2023 in sixth place shortly before entering the final. You can see which model had to travel home in the clip.

Huge Heidi Klum graffiti spotted in Berlin!
A gigantic graffiti by model boss Heidi Klum extends to a height of 15 meters and a total of 180 square meters in the Neukölln district of Berlin. At the start of the 18th season “Germany’s Next Topmodel” 2023, the artist collective Concrete Candy dug deep into the paint box to create this work of art.
