Everything we know about the camera in all iPhone 14 models – iPhone Islam

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models are rumored to include several significant camera upgrades. Reports and rumors about the iPhone’s camera technology may be somewhat accurate, as camera component supply chains often reveal specific information before the device’s release date.

In line with the way Apple keeps the latest camera features for its “Pro” models, the iPhone 14‌ and iPhone 14‌ Max are expected to receive moderate camera improvements, with major changes made exclusively to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max to push iPhone photography to the limit.

iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14

Compared to iPhone 13 and 13 mini

◉ In the iPhone 13, the wide camera is 12 mega pixel resolution, and it will be the same in the iPhone 14 and 14 Max.

◉ In the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini, the Ultra Wide camera is very wide with an ƒ/2.4 lens slot, and in the iPhone 14 and 14 Max, we will find that the Ultra Wide camera has been upgraded and came with a wider ƒ/1.8 lens slot to pass more light.

◉ The front camera in the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini comes with an ƒ/2.2 lens slot, while the iPhone 14 and 14 Max has been upgraded and comes with a wider ƒ/1.9 lens slot.

◉ It is expected that the 48-megapixel wide camera will be exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro models, while the standard iPhone 14 models will retain the 12-megapixel wide camera like the iPhone 13 lineup.

Earlier this year, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that all four iPhone 14 models, including the iPhone 14, 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, will feature an upgraded front camera with Autofocus and a wider 1.9 aperture.

A wider aperture will allow more light to pass through the lens and reach the front camera sensor on iPhone 14‌ models, improving image quality.

These camera upgrades can provide a better depth-of-field effect for portrait-mode photos and videos, while autofocus can improve focus during FaceTime and Zoom video calls, Kuo said. In comparison, the front camera on all iPhone 13 models has a fixed focus and a smaller aperture of 2.2, as we mentioned.

Kuo had correctly predicted that the iPhone 13 Pro models would come with a significantly upgraded ultra-wide camera, increasing the aperture from ƒ / 2.4 to ƒ / 1.8 and from a five-element lens to a six-element lens. Autofocus instead of the current fixed focus.

This year, these ultra-wide camera upgrades are expected to come to the entire iPhone 14‌ models rather than being reserved for Pro models.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max

◉ Compared to the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, we will find that they are equipped with a 12-megapixel camera with Focus Pixels, a six-element Telephoto lens, 4K recording and a front camera with aperture of 2.2 lens.

◉ While in the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, they are equipped with a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera with Focus Pixels and pixel binning, as well as a 7-element telephoto lens, 8K video recording, a front camera with aperture of 1.9 lens and autofocus.

The 48MP camera rumor is the iPhone 14’s most popular camera feature. As a result of the increased megapixel count, the iPhone 14 Pro’s wide pixels will be smaller, allegedly measuring 1.22 micrometers, according to a detailed rumor. This is a decrease of 0.68 micrometers compared to the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The 48MP camera system is expected to be limited to iPhone 14 Pro models and allow 8K video recording, providing a significant upgrade over the iPhone 13 Pro’s 12MP camera and 4K video recording capabilities. It is also said that the high-definition 8K videos recorded with the iPhone 14 Pro are suitable for viewing on virtual reality and augmented reality glasses that have been rumored for a long time.

Kuo previously said he believes the camera quality of the iPhone 14 Pro models will take mobile camera photography to a new level.
