According to press reports in Spain and France, the wife of the Moroccan soccer player, Ashraf Hakimi, was surprised that he put his money and property in the name of his mother, while his former partner wanted to obtain a share of his wealth, following the initiation of the divorce proceedings.
The Spanish newspaper “Marca”, quoting the French magazine “First Mag”, said that Hakimi’s wife, the Spanish actress, Heba Ibok, was surprised that the Paris Saint-Germain player had nothing in his name.
This news caused an uproar in Spain, because Hakimi’s wife is a well-known and wealthy actress, and it is assumed that she will not need to claim part of the Moroccan player’s wealth, according to commentators.
It was announced that Hakimi and his wife had separated and entered into divorce proceedings, following a young French woman filed a complaint accusing Hakimi, 24, of rape.
Hakimi was charged with rape, while the famous player categorically denied that he had been involved in the sexual assault.
Hakimi is among the highest paid players in the French league, earning more than €1m a month.
The Moroccan player has a close relationship with his mother, as he is keen to take her with him to honoring events and football matches.
Hakimi spoke repeatedly regarding his mother, saying that she worked in difficult professions in Spain in order to support the family and meet its needs, which makes him constantly try to return the favor.
