Al-Marsad newspaper: A new American study revealed that the symptoms reported in recent weeks have changed from the most common symptoms of corona infection, since the virus began spreading around the world, regarding three years ago.

The study said: “The main symptoms were mostly similar in those infected, regardless of vaccination status,” according to the Miami Herald website.

According to the study, “four of the five main symptoms of corona were the same for participants who received two doses of the vaccine, one dose of the vaccine, and those who were not vaccinated. These symptoms were headache, persistent cough, sore throat, and runny nose.”

The main symptom difference

The study found that the main symptoms differed in how they were ranked for each of the vaccination groups. Each group also reported different symptoms.

For those who received two doses of the corona vaccine, symptoms included: sore throat, runny nose, stuffy nose, persistent cough, and headache. Previously, loss of smell, shortness of breath and fever were more common symptoms of corona infection, for those who were vaccinated with two doses.

The unvaccinated had a fever

With regard to those who received a single dose of the vaccine, “sneezing” became among the most prominent symptoms of Covid-19 infection for them, and symptoms also included: headache, runny nose, sore throat, and persistent cough.

As for the third group, which is the unvaccinated group, study participants reported that they developed a fever more often than the other groups, and the symptoms were: fever, headache, sore throat, runny nose, and persistent cough.
