Every corner of Venezuela is committed to freedom

Opposition leader María Corina Machado managed to reach Amazonas state on Thursday despite government supporters trying to prevent her from continuing her journey.

“We have arrived. María Corina is in Amazonas and is already on her way to Puerto Ayacucho to send a message to the Venezuelans of that city. We will be in every corner of the country sending the message of change and freedom,” reported the Comando Con Venezuela.

The leader of Vente Venezuela (VV) crossed the Orinoco River in a canoe, following agents of the Nicolás Maduro administration prevented her from using barges that transport vehicles from one bank to the other in Puerto Páez.

“Despite the blockade, Machado and his team members boarded a canoe and crossed the river until they reached Amazonian land, having to leave the vehicles on the Apure riverbank,” Monitoreamos reported.

In this way, Machado was able to continue his tour to Puerto Ayacucho, where he led a mass event with the inhabitants of the capital of the state of Amazonas.

“This country stood up and said: I’m not going to put up with this anymore,” Machado said during the event. “They wanted to subject the country, the people, to hunger,” but “this Venezuela that is coming is the one that leaves humiliation behind forever. Never once more will a Venezuelan mother lower her head for a bag of food,” she added.

She stressed that this fight “that we are waging is a spiritual fight, hand in hand with God, he guides us, protects us, enlightens us to make the right decisions,” in this sense she asked the attendees to pray for her “to make the best decisions in these days that are very critical for the destiny of Venezuela.”

“Every corner of Venezuela is committed to freedom,” said the opposition leader, who continues to invite citizens to vote for the candidate of the Democratic Unitary Platform (PUD), Edmundo González Urrutia, with a message of faith, hope and resilience.
