Brazilian striker Neymar Junior (30, Paris Saint-Germain FC) posted a photo of his swollen ankle on his Instagram on the 27th (Korean time).

Neymar posted several photos on his Instagram story that day.

The photo shows his swollen ankle injured in the first leg of Group G of the 2022 Qatar World Cup group stage between Brazil and Serbia on the 24th.

Neymar, who started at the time, complained of pain in his right ankle following colliding with Serbian defender Nikola Milenković (25, ACF Fiorentina).

Neymar was substituted in the 34th minute of the second half, and Brazil won 2-0.

The Brazilian Football Association announced that Neymar will miss the second match once morest Switzerland on the 29th.
