Even more planned innovations leaked> Dr. Windows

It’s probably the week of the Windows 11 leaks. About planned innovations for the taskbar and in the ideas we have already read in the course of the week, now a few more information are added.

Of course, those of WindowsCentral The information published was highly unofficial, but it shouldn’t be long before it was confirmed, because the innovations discussed might at least partially be implemented with the next insider version in the developer channel.

The Windows 11 start menu should get back a function it lost compared to Windows 10: it will then be possible once more to create folders and fill them with apps. The limited space in the Windows 11 start menu might at least be used more sensibly.

The “Snap Bar” is also intended to provide a third option for arranging several open program windows on the screen. This should be a bar that is automatically displayed at the top of the screen as soon as you move windows with the mouse.

According to the report, the possibility of dragging and dropping files onto programs in the taskbar in order to open these files with the corresponding program is also making a “comeback”.

Innovations can also be expected for touch or tablet operation, for example opening the start menu by swiping from the lower edge of the screen or opening the quick settings if you swipe from below over the edge of the screen in the info area.

There will also be a little eye candy, for example in the form of transparent title bars (Windows Vista says hello).

As already written above, all unofficial. It can happen that way, but it doesn’t have to. With a look at all three leaks this week, you can still be reasonably sure that the developer channel of the Windows Insider Program will soon be more exciting once more.
