Lawyer Usman Riaz said that the hearing should be reserved for tomorrow then the notices will become part of the record, to which Judge Afzal Majuka remarked that ‘I am writing the hearing order today, it will have something bigger than the notice.’

Later, Judge Afzal Majoka issued a written hearing order. According to the order, ‘Khawar Manika’s lawyer is aware of this (High Court’s) decision due to his appearance in the High Court, but despite this, Khawar Manika or his lawyer did not appear before the court today.’

Khawar Manika and his lawyer are served notice to meet the requirements of justice, the order said. If Khawar Manika or the lawyer does not appear on June 21, they will decide on the available records.
