The crisis in the marriage of singers Eva and Vašek Ševčík began a year ago, when Eva decided to fly to their house in Florida without her husband. “In America, apparently also under the influence of various advisers, she came to the opinion that she no longer needed me at all. That she was a solo singer and should cut herself off from me completely. She let me know that time would tell her how to change her mind. Around Christmas it was clear to me that there would be a divorce,” revealed Vašek Ševčík Flash.
Finally, Eva filed for divorce and the court officially ended their marriage on July 30 of this year. But there were no scrambles for multimillion-dollar assets. “I then offered her to write down what she wanted to be hers. And that’s how we split up. She got everything that generates assets, including the house in Florida and the equipment,” complained the abandoned singer, who wanted to avoid tussles with court. “I knew that otherwise the lawyers would cost us unnecessary and considerable extra money. So the main question in our divorce was actually which of us would file the request. And it was Eva who wanted freedom. I would never leave my family,” he added sadly.
He is also troubled by the fact that his relationship with his adult daughter, who lives in the United States, has cooled due to the divorce. “We are still in contact, but I feel a certain alienation. And I know very well that I will never look at America again. I don’t even want to. My marriage actually ended there.”
Nevertheless, he does not give up on the idea of continuing his music career. And maybe he will go into politics. “I also received an offer that I am considering. To help with my many years of experience in the world in our politics,” said Ševčík, who openly supported the SPD in the past.
