Philipp Hansa announces the Austrian jury voting
Liverpool/Vienna (OTS) – Yesterday followingnoon, May 5, 2023, the second rehearsal in the Liverpool Arena was on the program for the Austrian ESC duo. TEYA & SALENA performed their song “Who The Hell Is Edgar?” three times on the big ESC stage. You can see their performance on Thursday, May 11, 2023, when they compete live on ORF 1 with start number 13 in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest from 9 p.m. for one of ten final tickets. ORF head of delegation Stefan Zechner: “The second rehearsal went very well, especially because we were able to fix the technical problems. The BBC team did a great job and it made TEYA & SALENA feel a lot more comfortable on stage. A lot of changes we wanted following the first rehearsal in terms of camera work and LED content were implemented. In that respect it was a 100% improvement compared to the first sample.”
TEYA & SALENA were also enthusiastic followingwards: “The second rehearsal was much better than the first. Everything went well and we’re already looking forward to being back on the big ESC stage next week,” says TEYA. “The choreography was better than last time and the sound problems were gone. Everything went wonderfully!” enthuses SALENA. Immediately following the rehearsal, there was an online meet & greet via TikTok LIVE with the Ukrainian commentator Timur Miroshnychenko, where fans from all over the world might ask questions.

Ö3 moderator Philipp Hansa will announce the points of the Austrian jury for the fourth time this year. “Twelve points go to …” will be the motto of the final scoring of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 on Saturday, May 13, live from Vienna: “Being able to announce the points at the Song Contest for Austria is the classic case of ‘You had one job’. It consists of: Count to twelve, don’t promise and don’t embarrass anyone. I can guarantee everything down to the last point and I just hope that the show will bring us a lot of joy and love once more this year,” jokes Philipp Hansa.
