European stocks fall after strong gains

European stock markets fell during yesterday’s trading, following strong gains in the previous session, affected by the decline in the leading shares in the mining sector.
By 12:37 pm, UAE time, the German “DAX” index fell by 0.19%, equivalent to 21.17 points, to reach 12813.78 points, while the European “Stoxx 600” index fell marginally to 414.99 points. The “Euro Stoxx 50” index fell by 0.43%, equivalent to 14.53 points, to reach 3,473.97 points, while the British “FTSE 100” index fell by 0.28%, or 21.8 points, to reach the level of 7,167.28 points, and the French “CAC” index fell by 16.97 points, or a percentage of 0.27% to reach 5,990.55 points.
