For his part, Sheikh Mubarak Ali Al-Rifai, the imam and preacher of the Al-Arif Billah Abu Al-Hajjaj Mosque in Luxor, says that the story of pigeon gatherings dates back to the days of the birth of Al-Arif Billah Abu Al-Hajjaj Luxor, where some loved ones and devotees bring numbers of pigeons to raise them in the area of ​​the Abu Al-Hajjaj Mosque in Luxor to be released on the day of the birth and the cycle. For the celebrations that leave the mosque and roam all the streets of Luxor and return to it once more, and the bathroom was initially settled inside the mosque in the Luxor Temple area surrounding the mosque.

Sheikh Mubarak Ali added to “The Seventh Day”, that following a period of time, pigeons gathered in large numbers in the square and square of Abu Al-Hajjaj Luxor, and everyone became loved ones, good people, shop owners and lovers of Sidi Abu Al-Hajjaj Luxor, who bring the yield that gathers pigeons around each other in the heart of the square With scenes comparable to those of the Great Mosque of Mecca and the civil sanctuary in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The imam and preacher of the mosque of Sidi Abu Al-Hajjaj Luxor confirmed that the square was developed in several stages, as it was recently decided to remove all the vendors and make a large wall surrounding the courtyard of the mosque, and it will be for the prayer hall in the square on the day of Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha, as most of the people of Luxor were attending in the square Abu Hajjaj to perform Eid prayers.
