Balkha said via a video message he posted on his Telegram channel while he was in Moscow: “Russia has everything. The standard of living is high here, and I wonder who was affected by the European sanctions?”
He added: “The European Parliament’s forecasts indicate that the Russian economy will grow by 3.5% next year, and the growth of the German economy will decrease by 0.2%.”
He stressed that “incredible lies are being spread in the West about Russia. Look how beautiful it is here.”
According to him, gasoline is much cheaper in Russia than in Europe, and he added: “I walked around Moscow, I saw high-quality luxury Chinese and Russian cars, and I saw a really very developed country.”
Blakha, who visited the memorials to Karl Marx and the Mausoleum of Lenin, noted that “Russians, unlike others, are not ashamed of their history, do not demolish memorials and do not destroy cultural monuments.”
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin indicated that the Russian economy continues to grow similar to last year, and the gross domestic product increased in the first six months of 2024 by 4.6%.
Putin pointed out that the growth of the economy and wages has a positive impact on the Russian budget. In the first seven months of this year, its revenues approached 20 trillion rubles (about 222 billion dollars), an increase of 36% over last year.
