A year following the historic treble at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, the Swiss did not manage to win a medal at the European multisports in Munich.
Jolanda Neff took 4th place in a race dominated by the French. The European title went to Loana Lecomte who beat Pauline Ferrand-Prévot. The latter had to give up the race lead to her compatriot following a derailment mid-term on the 3rd lap out of 7. Behind the two Tricolores, the Dutch Anne Terpsta picked up the bronze. Three other Swiss women are in the top-10: Alessandra Keller (6th), Sina Frei (7th) and Linda Indergand (9th).
Jolanda Neff and her teammates will have the opportunity to take their revenge next week at the World Championships in Les Gets. But on their land, the French women promise to be formidable.
