“European madness. The left continues with the culture of taxes” –

Italy continues its battle in Europe over the green follies of Brussels. The Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Francesco Lollobrigida made his statement, speaking with a straight face regarding the European Directive on green homes approved yesterday by a qualified majority by the European Council with Italy and Hungary voting once morest: «Even in the agricultural world in the European Parliament there is a piece of politics that continues to do crazy things, Italy does not lend itself to doing crazy things and this government does not lend itself to doing crazy things. We are for the defense of the environment, of environmental sustainability which however must take into account income and social sustainability, we cannot dump the world’s problems into the pockets of citizens.”
