Manchester United, Juventus, Seville and Roma reached the quarter-finals of the European Football League (Europa League), at the expense of Real Betis, Freiburg, Fenerbahce and Real Sociedad, respectively, while Arsenal were surprisingly eliminated by Sporting Lisbon, Portugal.
United beat Betis in the second leg of the final price with a goal without a response, while Juventus surpassed its host Freiburg with two goals, while Seville crossed – despite losing to its host Fenerbahce with a goal – thanks to its victory in the first leg with a double.
As for Roma, it qualified thanks to its goalless draw with its host Real Sociedad, after winning the first leg with two clean goals.
And after the first leg at Old Trafford was decided 4-1, United had a task within their reach, and he knew how to deal with Betis’s enthusiasm to return from Andalusia with his card to the quarter-finals.

In Germany, Juventus renewed its victory over its host Freiburg, to continue its career in the tournament, which is of double importance for the “old lady” team this season, because winning it will give it a ticket to participate in the Champions League competition, regardless of its status in the domestic league in which it was punished by deducting 15 points from balance, due to financial manipulation.
And the Serbian Dusan Vlahovic succeeded in giving Juventus the lead late in the first half from a penalty kick caused by Manuel Golde, after he touched the ball with his hand in the forbidden area, which led to his dismissal with a second warning in the 45th minute.

In London, Arsenal failed to beat Sporting Lisbon, drawing 1-1 in regular and extra time, to resort to penalty kicks to resolve the confrontation, after the first part of it in the Portuguese capital ended in a draw as well, but with a score of 2-2.

During the penalty shootout, luck smiled at Sporting and won 5-3, after scoring all the kicks, and his Spanish goalkeeper Antonio Adan shone in blocking Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli’s kick.
