European countries rushed to lift Corona measures

The World Health Organization announced that a number of European countries, such as Germany, France, Italy and Britain, “suddenly” lifted measures to combat the Corona virus, and find themselves once more facing a clear rise in the number of infections.

At a press conference held in Moldova, the Director of the European Branch of the World Health Organization, Hans Kluge, explained that this new rise in the number of infections is due to the effect of the second version of the mutant Omicron, called “PA2”.

Hans Kluge indicated that he was “aware” regarding the current epidemiological situation on the European continent, but stressed that he remained “optimistic”.
