Résumé
A total of 27 teams are in contention in 2022/23 Europa League qualifying, with nine of them qualifying automatically. As in 2021/22, there are only two stages: the third qualifying round and the play-offs. Ten teams qualify for the group stage.
The teams play home and away. If the teams are tied following 180 minutes, extra time and penalty kicks are played. The away goals rule has been abolished.
