Two weeks before the official presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra, the prices of smartphones in euros have just leaked. They’re more expensive than expected, but more or less match the prices of the Galaxy S21s last year.
Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra on February 8 or 9. This leaves another two weeks for leakers to reveal as much information as possible regarding the new smartphones. After the unboxing video shared by Unbox Therapy to present the design of the next flagships, the prices in euros of the three models of the Galaxy S22 just leaked.
According to this leak, the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra all equipped with a glass back would therefore be more expensive than expected. Some sources actually expected to see lower prices this year compared to the Galaxy S21. Eventually, that apparently won’t be the case. According to leaker Roland Quandt from German media WinFuture.de, the S22 range has been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, inflation and the global shortage of components.
The Galaxy S22 would be more or less sold at the same price as the Galaxy S21
The prices in euros of the Galaxy S22 would be the following according to the Roland Quandt leak:
- Galaxy S22 128 Go / 8 Go RAM : 849 € ;
- Galaxy S22 256 Go / 8 Go RAM : 899 € ;
- Galaxy S22+ 128 Go / 8 Go RAM : 1 049 € ;
- Galaxy S22+ 256 Go / 8 Go RAM : 1 099 € ;
- Galaxy S22 Ultra 128 Go / 8 Go RAM : 1 249 € ;
- Galaxy S22 Ultra 256 Go / 12 Go RAM : 1 349 € ;
- Galaxy S22 Ultra 512 Go / 12 Go RAM : 1 449 €.
Thereby, the prices more or less correspond to those of the Galaxy S21 when they came out last year. The Galaxy S21 with 128 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM was priced at €859, slightly more expensive than the S22. Nevertheless, the Galaxy S22 Ultra with 256 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM is more expensive. Its predecessor was sold at €1,309.
In addition, the Galaxy S22 and S22+ would be available in four colors: black, white, green and rose gold. On the other hand, the Galaxy S22 Ultra which should officially mark the return of the Galaxy Note would be offered in three colors: black, white and dark red. Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S22 would be available from February 25.
