Euro 2024 Qualification Update: Final Table Taking Shape and Play-off Draw Set

The final table for Euro 2024 is taking shape: this Sunday, Serbia won their ticket for the competition, bringing the number of teams already qualified for the final phase to 17, out of 24. The play-offs are also taking shape, while the seeds for the draw are almost all known.

We are starting to see more clearly regarding the shape of the final table of Euro 2024. Since this Sunday, 17 of the 24 teams have validated their place for the European Championship. The latest, Serbia booked its ticket to the group stage thanks to its draw once morest Bulgaria.

As for the top seeds – who will have a protected status for the draw on December 2 – they are almost all known. Spain, which beat Georgia this Sunday (3-1), validated its place in pot 1, just like the France team on Saturday once morest Gibraltar. There is one place left, which should (barring a huge surprise) go to England.

Play-off draw on November 23

Three teams will win their place at the Euro through the play-offs. They will take place on March 21 and 26. 12 teams will be competing. The draw for the play-off posters will take place on November 23.

They are guaranteed to compete in the play-offs: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Luxembourg, Poland.

They will be at least roadblockers (or directly qualified): Croatia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Ukraine.

They are already eliminated: Andorra, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, Georgia, Gibraltar, Greece, Iceland, Israel, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Northern Ireland, Macedonia North, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Republic of Ireland, San Marino, Sweden.

The seeds for the draw: Germany, Portugal, France, Spain, Belgium. There is still a place for England, Denmark and even Turkey.
