Eupen received Ostend on the last day of the regular season, a game without stake.
Eupen and Ostend, who had nothing more to gain or lose, met at the Kehrweg to punctuate the season.
The Pandas came close to opening the scoring, before the Côtiers found themselves at ten following the second yellow card (28th) from Kyle Duncan. But despite one less man, the KVO took over, Albanese found the bar before Ambrose (38th) opened the scoring.
After the break, Eupen immediately took control of the game, Prevljak scored but the goal was ruled out for offside by Nuhu.
Ostend remained dangerous and Himmelmann prevented Bätzner from planting the 0-2. But the goalkeeper had to bow to Albanese at the end of the match (81st), who fixed the final score at 0-2.
The Kustboys punctuate the season on a positive note, the Pandas finish 16th.
