Jang Bok-myeong and Son Nam-sook had a workshop with mixed memories of an affair in the past.
The story of 79-year-old husband Jang Bok-myung and 73-year-old wife Son Nam-sook was introduced in MBC’s ‘Oh Eun-young Report – Marriage Hell’, which was broadcast on October 10.
Son Nam-sook, his wife, said to her husband, Jang Bok-myung, “(34 years ago) your girlfriend came to our factory. At that time, she was a freshman at university.”
In an interview, Jang Bok-myung said, “In 1988, Kyung-ri’s friend came to work for our company. As I remember, he returned to school following working for 67 months. So I gave him an envelope. You are amazing, work hard. There was an accident. “I was embarrassed because I was young. My wife found out that he sent me a Christmas card. After knowing that, the owner of the house attacked him. We haven’t seen each other since.”
He then appealed, “If this happens once, I say at least a week. These kinds of things happen 30 times a year. I live with it.”
Son Nam-sook, while watching TV with her husband, began to mention another lover. Nam-sook Son said, “Men go crazy when they have an affair. They don’t seem to think regarding raising children. Whether they have a big child or not. How difficult it would be for a woman to live with three children,” she said, empathizing with the story on TV. did
After that, Nam-sook Son received a phone call, and Bok-myung Jang left the house to take advantage of the break.
Son Nam-sook said, “At that time, I thought it would hurt me more if I became obsessed with this person, so I always prayed to God to get rid of my feelings for my husband. So that I would not love him. I am a woman. I lived with that thought.”
Dr. Oh Eun-young said, “In a state of love for her husband that much, it seems that wounds are engraved in her heart as if it was stamped on a brand that was heated very hotly. It seems to be painful because it feels vivid.”
Bok-myung Jang asked, “Do you understand your wife’s feelings?” and said, “I understand. Even if my husband cheated on me, I would feel the same way. So I apologize unconditionally. I’m determined to do my best until the day I die.”
Son Nam-sook asked, “Am I weird? Am I being too harsh on my husband? But even following a few days, if I see a woman’s comb in the car, will my husband trust me if I see that?”
Son Nam-sook also mentioned her husband’s second affair. He confessed, “When I was in my 50s, that woman was two years older than me. They said she was a junior in my classmate. People told me that my husband had an affair.”
A couple who left Changwon and moved to Incheon to live a new life following their first affair. Jang Bok-myung said, “It took 10 years for me to wander. (The second lover) took pity on me. Then another incident happened. I wanted to heal my wife,” he confessed.
Son Nam-sook, while eating fruits with her husband, suddenly lamented, “When I met that girl, our youngest child was 5 years old. He said that he had miscarried three times.” Jang Bok-myung said, “Tell me a lie to a certain extent.” Son Nam-sook asked, “How did she make money? After she met her lover, she didn’t pay her living expenses? Why didn’t she even give her family living expenses?” Then, he burst into anger, saying, “How much did she give so that she was told by my girlfriend that she was rich?”
However, Jang Bok-myung complained, “My wife only says nonsense. Even if we argue, we should only tell the truth, but he tells stories that are not true.”
In an interview, Son Nam-sook said, “The thing that hurts the most is that I have to at least pay child support to my children. (My girlfriend’s neighborhood aunt) said that her husband sent her sisters to college.”
Son Nam-sook claimed, “When the children were in their prime, my husband did not take care of the family. The youngest daughter was 5 years old (the first affair ended) when she was 12.”
In response, Jang Bok-myung appealed, “At the most, one year. Never two years. Because there is such a difference, no matter how much I confess, I think it’s a lie.”
Son Nam-sook started the studio once more, saying, “It even appeared on the air, but I wish I might be honest.”
Bok-myung Jang explained the reason for not paying the living expenses at the time, saying, “I don’t remember giving my family monthly living expenses from the beginning.”
Son Nam-sook confessed, “During the real estate boom, I sold my apartment winning ticket and bought a year. That’s how I bought and sold buildings and lived with my children.”
When asked, ‘Why didn’t you ask for living expenses?’, Son Nam-sook said, “When my husband started his business, there was a quarrel. When he asked for living expenses due to financial difficulties, he said, ‘Why are you sucking blood?’ did,” he confessed.
