Mexican actor and comedian Eugenio Derbez He reappeared publicly this Sunday, in a “Live” on his official Instagram account, to disclose details of his health. In addition to thanking the signs of affection from his followers following having undergone surgery for an accident in which he fractured some bones in his shoulder at the end of August.
In the transmission he is seen lying on a bed with his entire left arm immobilized. Derbez reported that the accident occurred when he tripped and fell on some steps while playing a virtual reality game with his son.
“I know that what people most want to know is what happened and why it happened. People have always told me that things happen for a reason. I think that what happened to me was for something and I’m trying to find out why. It was a very busy year”, confessed the multifaceted.
He also explained that the accident occurred one day before returning home and following an intense period of work, for which he said he felt happy but very tired: “Although I was happy because of so much work, I felt a little suffocated, I I felt like I was in a prison, suddenly without being able to have a life.”
And he added: “Somehow it was the universe or maybe my soul asking to stop.” To which he added “having suffered five large and 10 small fractures“.
However, it was not until this Sunday, September 18, when the producer also made the broadcast on Instagram. recounting the details of his mishap and said he suffered “The strongest pain of my life.”
It is unknown when the actor will return to the screens, since he did not disclose details of his return. He assured that he “will remain in recovery” while he returns to normal activities.
