Eugenia Mikulan: What it’s like to live on social networks

Eugenia Mikulan, better known on social networks as @mangohallucinates, is an artist born in Argentina, and today she has more than 340,000 followers on the TikTok platform. The content creator has collaborated with several American brands such as Purpo or Snif, and her content is focused on an international audience.

Comedy skits are her thing, and she tells us that the days she makes a video are her happiest days and the days when she feels “more her.”

“If I spend a long time without filming, or external circumstances do not allow me to make videos, I start to have a bad time. I often say that when I make videos I finally breathe, but it can take a long time and you have to take breaks to avoid burnout. What I can tell you is that every day is different!” Mention @mangohallucinates

What is the greatest difficulty and satisfaction of being a content creator?

The biggest difficulty is moving on when things go wrong. I see a lot of people start and stop, it’s a shame. I had many opportunities to give up, but I would have missed so many impressive things. There are also people who bring you down at first, even close people who sometimes reconsider and sometimes not.

Afterwards, the most beautiful thing is many things, the affection of the people, how they remember you, how they identify with you, the people I met thanks to my videos who are now very special and close to me; the opportunities, the people who support you, watching my creativity grow, it’s like I have a whole new world in my head!

What is it like to build a community?
To generate a community, I strongly believe that the more one is oneself, without filters, without hiding, showing the imperfections as well as the good, the more people identify with you and the more they trust you. Then there is also the issue of consistency, which costs a lot, but it can be done. You have to be there as often as possible and people get used to seeing you, if possible every day.

Thanks to the networks, Eugenia managed not only to build a career, but also to help other content creators, such as Sebastian Misuraca, Kerina Wang, @glambyflo, and companies such as Sazmining Inc., Cosa de Mujeres, Santhigram Kerala Ayurveda, and many others!
