The European Union intends to announce new sanctions once morest Russia in the coming hours. This is reported by the BFM TV channel, citing a source in the Elysee Palace.
Recall that on Saturday there were telephone negotiations between German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and the presidents France and Russia Emmanuel Macron and Vladimir Putin.
The interlocutor of the TV channel noted that during the talks Putin did not show a desire to stop what was happening.
“We will take new sanctions measures in the coming hours,” the source said.
