EU defense ministers discuss ammunition for Kiev

The defense ministers of the 27 EU countries – including Austria’s head of department Klaudia Tanner (ÖVP) – will discuss further ammunition deliveries to Ukraine at a meeting in Sweden on Wednesday. The background is in particular fears that the country attacked by Russia might no longer have enough artillery shells available in the future. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Resnikov were also invited.
