According to German government spokesman Steffen Hebestreit, in the first batch, Berlin will deliver to Ukraine 14 Leopad tanks of type 2A6 from the warehouse of the federal army. Ukrainian soldiers will soon be trained to use Leopard 2 tanks in Germany. The aid package also includes ammunition, logistics and system maintenance.
