Other news from ETECSA about the TFA service for users

The Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA) also recently announced the “gradual” opening of a new contracting process for the Alternative Fixed Telephony (TFA) service, also known as the popular “minuteros” or “Minute Telephones.”

This news was reported through the Guantanamo newspaper Venceremos, representing good news for users on the island who need access to landline telephony, even if it is alternatively.

As explained by Tamara Sánchez Limonta, head of the ETECSA Marketing Group, this new contracting process responds to recent changes implemented in the TFA service, which will now become postpaid, which implies several modifications in the conditions of the residential telephone service. .

One of the main changes is that the basic monthly fee, which remains at 20 CUP, equivalent to 400 minutes, will begin to be consumed on the first day of each month and will be billed the following month, as occurs with other landline telephone services.

TFA users will also be able to recharge their balance with a minimum of 25 CUP through various means: in ETECSA commercial units, through mobile recharge coupons, the ETECSA online store (www.tienda.etecsa.cu), and using the Online Services APK application, available on the same ETECSA website and on the APKLIS platform.

In addition, with the balance recharged, users will be able to make calls and send international messages, as long as the device allows it, thus offering greater flexibility in the use of the service.
