The promotion consists of customers who receive an international recharge between -500 CUP and up to 1250 CUP will obtain five times the money recharged in the main balance.
According to informed Etecsa will be in force from 00:01 on November 6, 2023 – Cuba time – until 23:59 on November 12, 2023 – Cuba time.
Attention: the company warns that customers in Cuba must receive a recharge starting at 500 CUP, because “below that amount will not apply to the current promotion scheme.”
Likewise, remember that the current official exchange rate “does not modify the price of ETECSA products and services”, because “these measures are related only to the purchase operations of foreign currencies, currently accepted in the country, on the Internet. of BANK and CADECA offices.”
For customers who purchase the recharge from the Cuban wallet, an exchange rate of 1 USD X 24.00 CUP is applied.

It is not the first time that many Cubans complain on the Etecsa website that it is preferable for their relatives to remit currency to them, so that they can sell it and buy Internet at a better price.
This may be one of the reasons why the company regrets having decreased its income, even though they run up to two recharge promotions a month.
