On Saturday evening, 40 interested people in the Old Hapsal Hotel had a five-course dinner prepared by Ivari Vokk, the winner of the second season of Masterchef Estonia.

When I entered the door of Old Hapsal at 19:00 on Friday night, it seemed that I had lost the time or the place – preparations were supposed to be going on there for the five-course dinner that would take place the following evening, but there was nothing soulful regarding it. In the dining room, the tables were already set for 40 people, the knives, forks and glasses were polished to a shine, and the name tags of the guests were also placed on each table.

However, there was buzzing and clattering from the nearby room, and there the winner of the second season of the Masterchef Estonia hobby chef competition, Ivari Vokk, a man from Saaremaa, was making preparations for the following evening together with the hostess of the hotel, Daire Kaup. The product consisted of bread dough, and Vokk was currently making pate.
