From August 18, Estonia will close entry for Russians with Schengen visas issued by the republic. This is reported Interfax on Friday, August 12th.
“This means that if a Russian citizen, to whom Estonia has issued a Schengen visa and whose purpose of visiting is tourism, business, sports or culture, arrives at the border crossings of Narva, Luhamaa or Koidula, then from next Thursday he will no longer be able to enter Estonia,” commented in the press service of the Estonian Cabinet.
The government of the republic has clarified that Russians who have been issued a Schengen visa from another country or who are already in the Schengen area can enter Estonia.
