An event not to be missed for video game enthusiasts. The O’Clan Gaming association is organizing the second edition of its “Vigneux Gaming Show” event. The latter will take place February 10 and 11, 2024, within the Georges Brassens Center in Vigneux-sur-Seine. The principle ? Two days of tournaments, around a hundred players, four different games, including Street Fighter 6, Mario Kart 8, FC24 and Smash Bros Ultimate.
Consoles to win
“There will be two tournaments on Saturday February 10, and two on Sunday February 11. There can be 64 players per tournament, except for the game Street Fighter where it is limited to 32, explains Jérôme Giliberto, the president of the association. To participate in one of the tournaments, it is best to register upstream. The price is 5 euros. »
For each tournament, there will of course be a prize to be won. For example, the winner of the FC24 tournament will be able to win a Playstation 5. Nintendo Switch will be up for grabs for the Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros Ultimate tournaments.
“For the Street Fighter tournament, the prize to be won is different. You should know that this game is one of the stages of the Federal Championship of the French Video Games Federation. The winners will therefore be able to win 2 places for the grand final“, indicates Jérôme Giliberto.
Lots of entertainment
In addition to the tournaments, participants will be able to enjoy numerous activities. They will first be able to immerse themselves in virtual reality with VR headsets, or even return to childhood for some by playing old video games. A driving simulator with the game Formula 1 2023 will be made available in particular.
The French Video Games Federation will also be present. Round tables will be organized and will leave room for debates on two subjects: professions and training around video games, and on awareness and use of video games.
