Essec continues to develop its training offer on the African continent. Next November, the school will launch a new executive certificate for executives : Generation Africa.
La Grande Ecole, in support of its campuses in Rabat and Singapore, continues its development in Africa, with the launch of Generation Africa, an executive training certificate for international decision-makers, focused on the financing, management and development of business on the mainland.
The African singularity of Essec
The international business school continues to display its African uniqueness, being one of the most involved establishments on the continent. It is among other things the only one to have a campus in Africa, with that of Rabat.
Its European roots and its development for nearly 10 years in Asia through the Singapore campus constitute a leading international dimension.
A program dedicated to African and international decision-makers
With Generation Africa, Essec is betting on the growing interest of the private sector for Africa and its various sub-regions, with a strong international prism. This is the reason that motivated the three recognized professionals who oversee it: Benoît Chervalier, investment banker and president of one2five advisory, executive representative of Generation Africa and professor at Essec, Judith Michelle Williams, co-founder of Sugarwork and Head of Diversity and Inclusion at SAP and member of the Essec International Board, and Tuck Siong Chung, Associate Professor of Marketing and Academic Director of the MSc in Marketing Management and Digital on the Essec campus in Singapore.
High-profile speakers are scheduled, including leaders of international organizations, large private equity funds, headhunters and inspirational personalities.
Balance between academic excellence and practical knowledge
The strength of the program lies in the balance between academic excellence and practical knowledge of ESSEC on the continent. In addition to providing participants with its large network of former students (62,000 people), the school ensures the quality and diversity of Generation Africa through accelerated training. Spread over 12 days between the end of November 2022 and February 2023, the program delivered in English includes face-to-face sessions in Paris and Abidjan and a hybrid part.
Leveraging Africa’s Business Opportunities
The program will allow participants to develop their network and take advantage of new business opportunities in Africa. The continent has the largest potential free trade area with the recent creation of the ZELCA, and among the 15 fastest growing economies in the world until 2027, projections indicate that half will be African.
